Some of the places we visited to wit;
CENTURY OLD ACACIA TREES
Just a walked from the Glan’s Municipal Hall in the compound of Glan Central Elementary School of which the Centennial Acacia Trees are standing at a standstill and physically powerful for the past 100 years giving shed to the students from the heat of the sun as there quiescent break area.

Experience Island Paradise -”the pinkish white shoreline stretches and curves 750 meters, which gives one an impression that the beachfront is part of a small island, with 30 cottages and a restaurant floating over two separate white sand bars plus with a huge grounds”
– Rosal Beach Resort, Barangay Gumasa, Glan
This beach resort is one of the best white sand beaches scattered all over the province. There is a wide variety of options where one can break the stillness of the resort. One is to indulge in the beauty of the place by simply taking a walk in the fine white sand while having a conversation with new acquaintances or friends. Another way is to hang out with the beach while sipping refreshing drinks.
A SHORT GLIMPSE
Glan was founded on October 8, 1914
Glan is a first class Municipality in the Province of Sarangani, Island Mindanao, Philippines – boasts of pristine shorelines dotted with strips of powdery white-sand beach resorts facing the Celebes Sea which, hands-down, is among the Philippines best beaches. Colonial-era structures and archeological discoveries dating back to the 15th century make Glan even more alluring to visitors.
Glan is a leading producer of copra in the region and has survived the ups and downs of the coconut industry. However, as the burgeoning industry of coconut by-products continues to expand plus the demand for coconut surging in the world market, the people of Glan is enjoying the benefits as investors are setting-up shop throughout the town.
Glan is a 45 min trip via air-conditioned public utility vehicles from General Santos City along a well-paved highway. However, for those who would like to experience Rural Philippines, there are jeepneys that ply the same route.
